About the role#
We are hiring a CPA Articling Student to join our External Audit team in Vancouver, specifically focusing on the entertainment and new media sectors. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in the fall of 2027. You will work in a hybrid capacity as part of a team dedicated to audit and accounting services.
What you'll do#
- Prepare, analyze, and maintain financial records, journal entries, and working papers for clients in film, television, gaming, and media.
- Assist in the execution of audit and review engagements, including the preparation of financial statements and tax filings.
- Support the filing of industry-specific tax credit claims by gathering documentation and performing financial analysis.
- Investigate financial discrepancies and prepare schedules or reports to support client engagements.
- Help deliver recommendations to improve internal accounting processes and financial reporting.
What you'll need#
- An undergraduate degree that is completed or near completion, including all CPA pre-requisite courses.
- A clear plan to pursue your CPA designation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superior verbal and written communication abilities.
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team and provide strong client service.

- Compensation: $53,000 to $55,000 per annum.
