About the role#
The Accelerate internship program offers a 10-week experience designed to help you grow professionally. You will learn the operations of your department, attend professional development workshops, and network with senior leadership. You will also visit field operations to see how your work influences daily business. This is a paid, full-time position requiring 35 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Build and ship features for customer-facing digital platforms to improve the rental journey.
- Contribute to AI initiatives including LLMs, intelligent search, and recommendation features.
- Prototype generative AI tools and collaborate on prompt engineering, RAG, and AI agent workflows.
- Work with Engineering leaders and Solution Architects on technology transformation projects.
- Develop using a modern web stack including React, Angular, Node.js, and Java.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a 4-year degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, or a related field.
- Hands-on coding experience in languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
- Familiarity with web development fundamentals like HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
- Curiosity regarding front-end frameworks and applied AI concepts like vector search or ML APIs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in ambiguous environments.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
