About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineering Co-op, you will contribute to the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems that support warehouse automation. You will work alongside experienced engineers for 4 to 6 months. This role allows you to apply engineering fundamentals to real-world product development while building technical skills in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
- Create and update 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
- Support prototype assembly, testing, and validation activities.
- Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical system issues.
- Assist with engineering calculations, design evaluations, and product improvements.
- Support reliability, performance, and durability testing efforts.
- Collaborate with software, electrical, manufacturing, and field engineering teams on integrated solutions.
- Participate in design reviews and engineering discussions.
- Document test results, design changes, and engineering findings.
- Follow engineering standards, processes, and best practices.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Eligible to participate in a 4 to 6-month full-time co-op program.
- Completed coursework in mechanics, machine design, materials, or manufacturing.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software like SolidWorks, Creo, NX, or Inventor.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings and mechanical design principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Must not require visa support to work in the USA.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Atlanta, Georgia.
- The program duration is 4 to 6 months.
