About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering Co-op, you will contribute to the design, testing, and support of electrical systems that power warehouse automation. You will work alongside experienced engineers for 4 to 6 months to build practical skills while supporting projects that impact the reliability and safety of our automation solutions. This role allows you to apply your classroom knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.
- Create and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
- Participate in prototype builds, laboratory testing, and validation activities.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis on electrical and electromechanical systems.
- Support system integration efforts across electrical, software, and mechanical components.
- Collect, analyze, and document test results to inform engineering decisions.
- Collaborate with teams in software, mechanical, manufacturing, and field engineering.
- Participate in engineering reviews and project meetings.
- Follow established engineering processes, standards, and safety practices.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Ability to participate in a 4 to 6-month full-time co-op program.
- Completed coursework in circuits, electronics, power systems, or control systems.
- A fundamental understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Familiarity with reading electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Experience using laboratory equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- You must not require visa support to work in the USA.
