About the role#
This co-op position is based in our Troy, Ohio facility. You will join the Troy Engineering group to work on improvement projects that support our technical, sales, and shop staff at the assembly plant. This is a full-time, paid role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Use Microsoft Office tools and technical communication to document and support engineering projects.
- Create CAD designs using SolidWorks or AutoCAD for shop tools, layouts, and special parts.
- Interact professionally with staff across the office and shop floor.
- Troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
- Learn about our products and how they are applied in the field.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering.
- Authorization to work in the United States on an ongoing, indefinite basis.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your workload to meet deadlines.
- Ability to log, analyze, and interpret data to propose process improvements.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Comfort working in an environment with frequent interruptions.
