About the role#
Lanco Integrated is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern for our Westbrook, Maine facility. You will work on-site for 20 to 40 hours per week, depending on your schedule and current project needs.
What you'll do#
- Create detailed drawings for parts and assemblies.
- Prepare bills of materials, assembly drawings, and station documentation.
- Support the machine build, assembly, and debug processes.
- Assist with vendor correspondence and requests for quotation.
- Help develop mechanical design standards.
- Support Customer Service and Field Engineering teams as needed.
- Assist Project Engineers and Engineering Management with ongoing projects.
- Take on station design tasks if you demonstrate high performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an engineering degree program.
- Interest in automation and mechanical design.
- Proficiency using MS Office.
- Exposure to 3D CAD software (SolidWorks experience is a plus).
- Ability to perform basic mechanical engineering computations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- This role is based on-site in Westbrook, Maine.
- Travel may be required for this position.
