About the role#
The Finance Co-op supports the FP&A team with financial planning and analysis. You will assist the Manager, FP&A, with month-end closing, reporting, and various financial projects. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Mason, Ohio.
What you'll do#
- Participate in month-end closing procedures and conduct variance analysis with external departments.
- Prepare budget vs actuals (BVAs) files for specific departments.
- Consolidate monthly operating expenses and AmEx reports.
- Assist with rolling and updating quarterly forecast refresh files.
- Update budget files and support routine financial analyses.
- Perform variance fluctuation analysis on assigned departments.
- Follow policies, procedures, and control enhancements related to your assigned areas.
- Participate in special assignments as requested.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prepare accurate reconciliations.
- Ability to communicate effectively within the organization and with external parties.
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.
