About the role#
The Finance Co-op role focuses on financial planning and analysis. You will assist the Manager of FP&A and the broader team with routine financial tasks, month-end procedures, and special projects. This position requires regular on-site attendance and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
What you'll do#
- Participate in month-end closing procedures and support routine financial analyses.
- Prepare files for budget vs actuals (BVAs) and update budget files with actuals.
- Perform variance fluctuation analysis for assigned departments.
- Consolidate monthly AmEx reports for departmental leaders.
- Assist with rolling and updating quarterly forecast refresh files.
- Handle travel reporting and follow established policies, procedures, and control enhancements.
- Contribute to various Finance projects as requested.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines while preparing accurate analyses and reconciliations.
- Comfort working in an entrepreneurial environment.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
