About the role#
This internship is a full-time, hourly position based in San Francisco for the Winter 2027 term. You will join the team to work on satellite hardware and reliability projects. Interns at Astranis take on meaningful tasks, and many contribute directly to hardware or software that eventually reaches space.
What you'll do#
- Perform reliability analyses on satellite systems.
- Collaborate with the reliability design team to analyze flight hardware.
- Support DFMEA efforts.
- Write code to evaluate hardware performance and automate testing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a B.S. program for electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
- A desire to design and work with electronics systems.
- Experience designing, building, and testing hardware from scratch.
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card status.
- Bonus points for experience with Python, SPICE-based simulators, or standard EE lab equipment like oscilloscopes and power supplies.
