About the role#
As an Instructional Design Intern, you will work with our Cybersecurity team to create training that helps employees recognize cyber threats. You will gain experience designing eLearning, building digital content, and collaborating with professionals across the organization. This position offers the chance to build a portfolio of real-world projects while working alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and update training modules.
- Edit and proofread learning materials to ensure quality.
- Create graphics and promotional materials for training modules.
- Test eLearning courses to ensure they function properly and provide a good learner experience.
- Partner with other divisions to organize and maintain learning modules.
- Participate in meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with tools like Articulate Storyline, Articulate 360, Canva, or Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems or Microsoft Teams is helpful.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based at our headquarters in Springfield, Missouri.
- The term is for Summer 2027.
