About the role#
Associated Electric Cooperative Inc. is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. This full-time position is based at the Thomas Hill Power Plant in Clifton Hill, Missouri. You will work Monday through Friday to support our electrical operations and maintenance teams.
What you'll do#
- Write bid specifications and evaluate construction bids.
- Support electrical maintenance and improvement projects.
- Contribute to plant relay upgrades, arc flash compliance, and electronic database development.
- Assist with the documentation, programming, and maintenance of controls and PLC systems.
- Help develop and implement predictive maintenance plans.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical degree program.
- Completion of at least two years of your bachelor degree.
- Coursework in Circuit Theory.
- Strong attendance and punctuality.
- Experience with relevant engineering software.
