About the role#
As a Business Finance Intern, you will join the team responsible for producing financial analysis to support strategic business decisions. This role offers exposure to how a retail business is managed from a financial perspective, helping you develop subject matter expertise in core business areas. You will contribute to growth by supporting the development of financial insights and solutions.
What you'll do#
- Forecast sales and business expenses while explaining key growth drivers.
- Analyze business results, including internal and macroeconomic drivers for P&L line items.
- Provide financial analysis, insights, and go-forward recommendations to business partners regarding projects and initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for smart spend management through fact-based decisions.
- Deliver timely and accurate reporting on performance results to the leadership team, highlighting risks and opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary institution, preferably pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- A preferred graduation date between April 2027 and April 2028.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- A logical, organized approach with an appreciation for structure and details.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems.
- A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's values and leadership principles.
- Ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners.
- A passion for Aritzia and the fashion industry.
- Prior work experience in Aritzia Boutiques, Concierge, or Distribution Centres is highly valued.
Location & details#
- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia.
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 10 to July 30, 2027).
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
