About the role#
This is a student worker position based at UNLV. You will support facility operations by maintaining clean and safe environments. This role is paid and requires on-site work. Students from Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Human Resources, Health Administration, or Nursing programs are encouraged to apply.
What you'll do#
- Clean and maintain assigned areas to meet company and client standards.
- Follow established procedures to ensure a safe workspace, including proper storage and disposal of trash.
- Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment.
- Report maintenance issues by submitting work order requests.
- Secure the facility by locking and unlocking buildings as needed.
What you'll need#
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull more than 50 lbs.
- Comfort with physical tasks like bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Capability to follow safety procedures, including those involving hazardous chemicals.
- Previous custodial experience is preferred.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or personal protective equipment when required.
