About the role#
The Student Worker - Functional position involves cleaning and maintaining assigned areas to meet Aramark and client standards. You will contribute to a safe, clean, and orderly environment while ensuring the security of company assets and facilities.
What you'll do#
- Clean and maintain assigned areas to ensure customer and client satisfaction.
- Follow established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Operate and maintain housekeeping equipment properly.
- Manage the storage and disposal of trash by transporting it to designated areas.
- Secure the facility by locking or unlocking buildings as required.
- Report maintenance concerns by submitting work order requests to the appropriate personnel.
What you'll need#
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing.
- Capability to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull items greater than 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow basic safety procedures regarding physical risks and the handling of hazardous chemicals.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Previous custodial experience is preferred.
