About the role#
The Student Worker - Functional position involves maintaining assigned areas to ensure client and customer satisfaction. This role supports the facility by ensuring a clean, orderly, and safe environment while adhering to established health and safety regulations.
What you'll do#
- Clean and maintain assigned areas according to company and client standards.
- Follow procedures for the storage and disposal of trash and transport waste to designated areas.
- Properly clean and maintain housekeeping equipment.
- Secure the facility by ensuring buildings are locked or unlocked as required.
- Protect company assets and report maintenance concerns through work order requests.
- Adhere to safety procedures, including those related to OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
What you'll need#
- Previous custodial experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of items greater than 50 lbs.
- Capability to meet physical demands such as bending, extended walking, and standing.
- Ability to follow basic safety precautions regarding physical risks and hazardous chemicals.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
