About the role#
This position offers students an opportunity to gain experience in food service and catering operations on campus. The role focuses on food preparation, safety compliance, and delivering quality customer service to guests.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and assemble food items following standardized recipes and instructions.
- Store food products according to established safety standards.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations including prep tables and service counters.
- Serve customers while anticipating their needs and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Replenish food items and maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Adhere to company safety policies and ensure the security of company assets.
- Maintain a positive demeanor and provide excellent service to guests and co-workers.
What you'll need#
- Ability to obtain or possess food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear uniforms or required personal protective equipment.
