About the role#
This position is a paid student worker role based in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the Summer 2027 term. It is an on-site role that requires full-time availability. Students from majors including Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Nutrition, and Kinesiology are encouraged to apply.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items by following standardized recipes and instructions.
- Store food properly to meet safety standards.
- Set up workstations, including service counters, prep tables, and hot wells.
- Clean and sanitize workstations after use.
- Serve food to customers and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Replenish food items and maintain stock levels.
- Follow safety policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a positive demeanor when interacting with guests and coworkers.
What you'll need#
- Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or required personal protective equipment.
