About the role#
This position offers students an opportunity to gain experience in food service and catering operations on campus. You will work as part of a team to prepare food and support daily service needs.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items using standardized recipes.
- Set up workstations, including service counters and prep tables.
- Break down, clean, and sanitize work areas.
- Serve food while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Replenish stock and food items as needed.
- Store food according to safety standards.
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies.
- Maintain a positive demeanor with guests and coworkers.
- Ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or use protective equipment.
- This role is open to students in Nutrition, Civil Engineering, or Business Administration.

- Location: Fairfield, Connecticut.
- Compensation: $18.00 per hour.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a rolling, full-time position.
