About the role#
This is a paid, full-time student worker position for Summer 2026. You will work on-site in Elon, North Carolina. We welcome students from Civil Engineering, Business Administration, and Nursing programs to join our food service and catering team.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and build food items using standardized recipes.
- Store food properly according to safety standards.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations like prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers while anticipating their needs.
- Replenish food items to keep stock at appropriate levels.
- Follow safety policies and ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to obtain or hold a food safety certification.
- Strong guest service skills.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to handle physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or personal protective equipment as required.
