About the role#
This position provides students with hands-on experience in food service and catering operations. You will support daily food preparation, customer service, and sanitation tasks within a campus environment. This role is open to students across various disciplines, including Business Administration, Nutrition, Human Resources, and Civil Engineering.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and assemble food items following standardized recipes and instructions.
- Set up, break down, clean, and sanitize workstations, including prep tables and service counters.
- Serve food to customers while anticipating guest needs and ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels by replenishing food items as needed.
- Store food products in compliance with established standards.
- Follow all company safety policies, including food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Demonstrated guest service skills.
- Ability to obtain or hold a food safety certification.
- Previous food service experience is preferred.
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or Personal Protective Equipment as required.
