About the role#
The Student Manager- Sustainability role supports our facility operations in Tempe. You will help maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for guests and staff. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Follow established procedures to keep the workspace safe and compliant with regulations.
- Clean assigned areas to meet company and client standards.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment and manage the storage and disposal of trash.
- Report maintenance issues through work order requests.
- Secure the facility by locking and unlocking buildings as needed.
What you'll need#
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull more than 50 lbs.
- Capability to follow safety procedures, especially when working with hazardous chemicals.
- Previous custodial experience is preferred.
- Students pursuing degrees in Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Sociology, Public Health, or Psychology are encouraged to apply.
- Comfort with physical tasks including bending, extended walking, and standing.
