About the role#
This is a student worker position based at North Carolina Central University. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for our clients. This role is on-site and follows a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Clean assigned areas to meet company and client standards.
- Follow established safety procedures, including those related to hazardous chemicals.
- Report maintenance issues to the appropriate staff.
- Manage the storage and disposal of trash.
- Secure company assets and ensure the facility is locked or unlocked as required.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment.
What you'll need#
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull more than 50 lbs.
- Capability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
- Previous custodial experience is preferred.
- Ability to follow basic safety protocols.
