Intern Internal Audit - Corporate

About the role#

The Internal Audit Intern will gain exposure to diverse auditing, operational, and accounting activities. This role involves working alongside current professionals through shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities, while interacting with mid-level management and staff across various Caesars properties.

What you'll do#

• Assist in performing compliance, financial, and operational audits of business operations.
• Examine and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of information systems and business controls.
• Assess compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify and document business processes and controls in accordance with established department standards.
• Contribute to building strong relationships with property mid-management and staff.
• Assist in presenting oral and written results of audit activities to various levels of management.
• Participate in ad hoc special projects, including collaboration with mid-level corporate or property management.

What you'll need#

• Must be 21 years of age or older by the start of the internship.
• Must be a college Junior, Senior, or Graduate student from an accredited four-year university, preferably majoring in Accounting or a related field.
• Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and standards.
• Proficiency with computer systems and applications, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a changing environment and work effectively within a team.
