About the role#
This is a project-based and food service role at the College of Charleston. You will work with dining management and staff to support wellness, marketing, and sustainability efforts. Interns work alongside the registered dietitian and assist with various on-site projects.
What you'll do#
- Plan and execute wellness events.
- Create event signage using Canva.
- Perform mini audits.
- Set up iPads with nutrition information.
- Restock allergen-friendly products.
- Help the marketing and sustainability teams with events.
- Work occasional night and weekend catered events.
What you'll need#
- Current student status at the College of Charleston.
- Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Creativity and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stress.
- Availability for 5-10 hours per week.
- Majors in Nutrition, Public Health, Kinesiology, or Business Administration.
