About the role#
As the Marketing IT Intern, you will support campus operations and marketing initiatives at Eastern Kentucky University. This role provides hands-on experience in technical support, troubleshooting, and marketing coordination. You will work 20-30 hours per week, with a schedule that accommodates your classes and campus commitments. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required.
What you'll do#
- Update campus equipment including computers, registers, and TVs.
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist the team with administrative tasks to maintain smooth operations.
- Help plan and promote marketing events to increase online engagement.
- Stay available on campus to address technical issues as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an EKU student living on campus or in Richmond.
- Experience in IT work, specifically hardware installation and repair.
- Preference for students majoring in Computer Science, Marketing, or Business Administration.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to proof your work for accuracy.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
