About the role#
As a Marketing Intern for the WKU Restaurant Group, you will support the marketing division by coordinating programs and resources. You will work under the direction of the Director of Marketing to execute campus-wide initiatives. This position is available for the Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Execute weekly campus events and host tabling sessions for social media, Grubhub, and VOC.
- Document events by recording metrics and taking photos.
- Conduct pricing audits for campus convenience stores and restaurants.
- Create and edit videos and infographics.
- Manage social media content and track growth using analytics.
- Assist with intercept surveys and campus admissions events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Marketing, Communications, or Media Studies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Canva and a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- A hospitality-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
- The position is on-site and full-time.
- You must be available to work some Saturdays.
- This role involves physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing. You may be required to wear a uniform or personal protective equipment.
