About the role#
The Village Dallas is a residential community in Dallas, Texas. We are looking for a Social Media Intern to help us create content that reflects our community. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role that involves real work and portfolio-building projects. You will work directly with our marketing team.
What you'll do#
- Plan, shoot, and edit content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
- Write captions for social media posts.
- Develop and maintain monthly content calendars.
- Attend community events to capture photos and videos.
- Analyze social media metrics to track performance and report findings.
- Engage with the community by responding to comments and direct messages.
- Brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Film, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with tools such as CapCut, Premiere, Lightroom, or Canva.
- Experience managing Instagram and TikTok accounts.
- Ability to write clear, engaging content for various platforms.
- Self-starter mindset and an interest in showcasing the Dallas community.
