About the role#
Creative Dining Services is hiring a Social Media Intern to support our corporate marketing team. This role offers hands-on experience in content creation for a hospitality organization. You will work under the direction of the Senior Marketing Specialist to build content for our corporate social media channels.
What you'll do#
- Capture photography and short-form video for social media platforms.
- Edit photos and video content to support brand communications.
- Draft social media posts for review and approval.
- Create graphics to support social media campaigns and marketing priorities.
- Schedule posts and monitor engagement.
- Report on basic analytics and performance information.
- Travel to local Creative Dining accounts to gather content as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in college at the sophomore level or above.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or Media Studies.
- Proficiency with Meta social media tools including Facebook and Instagram.
- Strong photography and photo-editing skills.
- Ability to create and edit engaging short-form video content.
- Experience with Canva and Adobe Photoshop is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, part-time, hybrid internship.
- The role runs from Fall 2026 through Spring 2027.
- You will work at least one day per week at our corporate office in Zeeland, Michigan.
- The schedule is approximately 10 hours per week and can be arranged around your class schedule.
