About the role#
This internship at the Kahn Hotel and Alo Res in High Point provides hands-on experience in hospitality operations. You will support the team by managing guest interactions, handling transactions, and coordinating daily administrative tasks. This is a full-time, paid position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Greet guests and anticipate their needs throughout their stay.
- Provide directions, travel information, and details on local points of interest.
- Book reservations, manage rentals, and coordinate registration processes.
- Process cash and credit card transactions using registers or software systems.
- Answer phone calls and emails while relaying messages.
- Coordinate the resolution of guest concerns and communicate with other departments to maintain service standards.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience in guest services is required.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Organizational habits, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Experience with cash handling is preferred.
- Current enrollment in Business Administration, Communications, or Civil Engineering programs.
