About the role#
The Executive Chef oversees culinary operations for Aramark Student Nutrition. You will manage chef managers and hourly staff, ensuring that food production, presentation, and service meet all company standards. This position focuses on delivering high-quality meals while managing labor and food targets.
What you'll do#
- Manage and train the culinary team, including chef managers and kitchen staff.
- Ensure all food preparation follows established culinary standards and techniques.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and guests through daily interaction.
- Monitor operational performance, including waste management, inventory, and labor costs.
- Oversee the supply chain process to ensure only authorized suppliers are used.
- Enforce safety, health, and quality assurance policies in all kitchen operations.
- Lead team meetings and huddles to align on production goals.
What you'll need#
- At least 4 years of culinary experience.
- A culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices.
- Ability to multi-task and simplify agendas for your team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- At least 2 years in a management role is preferred.

- Location: Camden, New Jersey.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time.
- Salary: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year.
