About the role#
This internship is a rotational program where you work on live, high-stakes freight operations projects. You will be based at the J.B. Hunt facility in Lowell, Arkansas, working directly with the Overroute team. This role is not a traditional internship with pre-packaged projects. Instead, you will contribute to production workstreams across customer success, product development, and forward deployed engineering.
What you'll do#
- Onboard, train, and enable 5 J.B. Hunt business units.
- Triage incoming user feedback and track AI adoption across different units.
- Perform quality assurance checks on agent output before it reaches live operators.
- Analyze user behavior and document real-world freight operations workflows.
- Conduct user and competitive research.
What you'll need#
We accept students from Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, and Data Science. You will be a good fit if you:

- Ask questions and pursue answers to find root causes.
- Communicate clearly and logically in your writing.
- Thrive in ambiguity and take action before a problem is fully defined.
- Want ownership and accountability for your work.

- This is a paid, part-time position during the academic year and full-time during the summer. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
