About the role#
Android Industries is seeking an Engineering Intern for our facility in Roanoke, Indiana. This is a paid, on-site role that offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a motor vehicle manufacturing environment. You will work alongside our plant Manufacturing and Controls Engineers to support various technical projects and operational improvements.
What you'll do#
- Learn from experienced plant Manufacturing and Controls Engineers and Process Experts.
- Assist the engineering team with automation, tooling, lean, and other technical projects.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and develop improvements for auto and semi-auto assembly equipment.
- Coordinate with team members to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
- Perform and document control system testing.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and instructional guides for operations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs.
- A safety-conscious mindset and the ability to work up to 25 hours per week.
