About the role#
Android Industries is seeking a Materials Intern to join our team in Hazel Park, Michigan. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship focused on supporting our manufacturing and supply chain operations. You will work directly with our material flow processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy within our facility.
What you'll do#
- Track and manage material movements using scan guns.
- Input material flow data into Excel spreadsheets.
- Identify packing discrepancies and communicate space constraint issues.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and audits.
- Process material transactions in ERP and WMS systems.
- Receive incoming materials and monitor their flow throughout the facility.
- Support launch builds and other assigned material projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college as at least a fourth-year student.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Pursuit of a bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles and material tracking technologies.
