About the role#
Android Industries is seeking an Operations Intern for our Lansing, Michigan facility. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position with a rolling start date. You will work within our motor vehicle manufacturing environment to support daily operations, ensure quality compliance, and assist with team training.
What you'll do#
- Ensure all work aligns with company quality policies and values.
- Assist with team member onboarding and on-the-job training, including content creation.
- Audit compliance regarding the versatility matrix and labor performance evaluations.
- Drive our safety culture and promote safety as a personal value.
- Participate in daily 5S activities and help validate operational documents.
- Support staffing and scheduling tasks while communicating across departments.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one year in an accredited Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
- Previous work experience is preferred.
- Ability to use data for problem solving and planning work activities.
