About the role#
The EHS Intern supports the Environmental, Health, and Safety team at Android Industries. This role provides hands-on experience in workplace safety, environmental compliance, and incident investigation within a manufacturing environment. You will work on-site to help maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate environmental, health, and safety activities.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs, including new hire orientation.
- Investigate work-related injuries and illnesses while compiling statistical reports.
- Implement safety countermeasures and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct routine safety observation tours and document findings.
- Support environmental reporting for land, air, water, and hazardous waste compliance.
- Assist with emergency evacuation planning and chemical inventory monitoring.
- Maintain EHS records, files, and training documentation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous internship, coursework, or exposure to manufacturing or safety environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong follow-through.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
