About the role#
The Operational Resilience Analyst Intern supports the Incident Management and Problem Management teams. You will help coordinate post-incident reviews and improve service reliability. This role provides exposure to IT Service Management, Root Cause Analysis, and continuous improvement practices. You will work with technology and business teams to identify incident trends and maintain governance materials.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate Post-Incident Analysis (PIA) activities for major and high-impact incidents.
- Document incident timelines, business impacts, contributing factors, and lessons learned.
- Collect and validate data for Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reviews.
- Track corrective and preventive action items and monitor their progress.
- Maintain PIA records, documentation repositories, dashboards, and reporting materials.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited degree program in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Industrial Engineering.
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies or sophomore status.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- A basic understanding of IT infrastructure, applications, networks, and enterprise technology environments.

- Employment type: Full-time, paid internship.
- Compensation: $18.00 to $35.00 per hour, depending on school year and program of study.
- Benefits: Includes Amtrak rail pass privileges and one PTO day per academic year.
