About the role#
This 10-week paid internship provides hands-on experience in business process improvement and technology development. You will work on projects that impact our business operations while participating in professional development workshops and networking events. You will also be paired with a mentor to support your career growth.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify process improvements, document business needs, and translate requirements into functional solutions.
- Build and support Python-based automation tools, proof-of-concept solutions, and Generative AI applications.
- Assist with integrating solutions across enterprise systems, APIs, and data sources.
- Participate in testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and deployment activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong data analytics skills.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills.
- Previous leadership experience through student organizations or volunteer work is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- The position follows a hybrid model, with three days per week in the office and two days working remotely.
- This is a full-time internship consisting of 40 hours per week during the summer of 2027.
- Compensation is $28 to $29 per hour, depending on qualifications.
