About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship focused on compliance, risk management, and regulatory processes. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to real-world projects that impact the business. The program includes access to professional development workshops, a dedicated mentor, and opportunities to connect with senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the day-to-day administration of the compliance program, including privacy, training, education, and monitoring.
- Evaluate vendor and third-party relationships by reviewing contracts, identifying compliance gaps, and presenting your findings to leadership.
- Partner with IT, Marketing, and other teams to map, update, and document data flows and internal business processes.
What you'll need#
- Current Junior status pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, Health or Privacy Law, Health Information Management, Auditing, or Information Security.
- Expected graduation date between May and June 2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and adaptability skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- The role follows a hybrid schedule, with three days in the office and two days working remotely.
- The internship term is scheduled for Summer 2027.
