About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Secure Supply Chain team at Cencora. You will work on real business initiatives and contribute to projects that support our goals. The role involves analyzing and enhancing supply chain processes to ensure they align with manufacturer performance and company objectives. You will act as an internal consultant for various departments to help improve margins and operational effectiveness.
What you'll do#
- Develop solutions to address tactical challenges in data compliance and quality.
- Ensure adherence to regulations and fulfill supplier agreements.
- Work with suppliers and manufacturers to improve product quality and resolve shipment issues.
- Support projects focused on buy-side profits, inventory productivity, and team effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and program activities.
- Present project outcomes and key learnings at the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Preference for rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Demonstrated leadership through academic, volunteer, or work experiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to feedback.
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States.
