About the role#
The Marketing team at Ameriprise Financial promotes and protects the company brand and reputation. We provide programs and communications that help financial advisors build their practices, acquire new clients, and deepen existing relationships. As an intern, you will contribute to various marketing initiatives and gain direct experience within a large financial services organization.
What you'll do#
Your specific responsibilities will vary based on your assigned projects. You will support the team in the following areas:
- Consumer marketing, insights, and market segmentation
- Social media marketing
- Client acquisition strategies
- Advisor marketing support programs
- Marketing strategy and analytics
What you'll need#
- Current Junior status at a 4-year university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Strong integrity, ethics, and self-motivation.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of AI productivity tools.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Valid work authorization in the United States without the need for future visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- The role follows a hybrid work model. Employees work in the office at least four days per week, with one day of flexibility to work from home.
- This position is offered on a rolling basis.
