About the role#
The Hospitality team serves as the face of Baird. You will help create a professional experience for everyone who walks through our doors. This team organizes and executes meetings and events in our Conference Center while greeting guests and callers. You will work full time, 37.5 to 40 hours per week, in our downtown Louisville office.
What you'll do#
- Provide service to internal and external clients in person and over the phone.
- Assist with the planning and execution of meetings and events to ensure smooth operations.
- Accommodate the specific needs of meeting organizers and attendees.
- Manage expenses, email campaigns, and the ordering of materials and supplies.
- Gain insight into Baird operations and learn about our various businesses.
- Network with associates and clients.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in hospitality management, event management, marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- An anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- A passion for hospitality and providing excellent customer service.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and attention to detail.
- Motivation, proactivity, and strategic thinking.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Hospitality industry or office setting experience is preferred.
- Experience with graphic design, marketing, and content creation is a plus.
