About the role#
The Wealth Management Advisor Group (WMAG) serves as the growth engine for Ameriprise Financial. This group supports roughly 10,000 branded financial advisors and maintains a corporate staff dedicated to driving growth across employee and franchise platforms. As an intern, you will contribute to meaningful projects and gain hands-on experience by working alongside experienced colleagues.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate with project leaders to create and manage project plans and deliverables.
- Communicate with key stakeholders to gather input and project feedback.
- Partner with the events group to plan and execute department and advisor Town Halls and sales-oriented events.
- Assist with Team Hall of Fame updates to showcase success stories and career paths.
- Create and administer team contests.
- Support event strategy, planning, and logistics.
What you'll need#
- A graduation date of December 2027 or May/June 2028.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- The ability to communicate and work collaboratively with others.
- A high degree of self-motivation and integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- The role is full-time and paid at $27.50 per hour.
- We operate on a hybrid schedule, with at least four days per week in the office.
- Please note that the company does not offer undergraduate internships for students with F-1 visas.
