About the role#
This internship offers students experience in statutory reporting within the insurance industry. You will work with the Statutory Reporting team to support financial operations, gain exposure to accounting projects, and participate in professional development sessions. The program runs from May 24, 2027, to August 6, 2027, with an optional extension available until August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations.
- Validate financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with statutory reporting processes.
- Help document accounting policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university with junior standing or higher by the start of the internship. May 2027 graduates are welcome to apply.
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting or a related field with relevant accounting coursework.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- The role is strictly on-site at our League City, Texas location.
