About the role#
This internship provides experience in the retail annuities business. You will work on real projects, build professional connections, and gain exposure to the insurance industry. The program runs from May 24, 2027, through August 6, 2027, with an optional extension until August 13.
What you'll do#
- Support actuarial analysis for the retail annuities business.
- Gain exposure to actuarial models and tools.
- Complete hands-on project work related to the department.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university with junior standing or higher by the start of the internship.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Progress toward or completion of a bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline like mathematics or statistics.
- Passing score on at least one SOA exam.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- The role is based on-site in League City, Texas, or Houston, Texas.
- Sponsorship is not available for this position.
