About the role#
The Technology and Data Internship is a full-time summer program for students interested in financial technology. You will join a team within Global Technology to support projects involving data analysis, software development, and process automation. The program includes formal orientation, mentor assignments, and networking opportunities with firm leadership.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with technology and data teams to analyze business needs and design data-driven solutions.
- Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of software applications and automation scripts.
- Support data collection, cleaning, and visualization using tools such as Python, SQL, and Power BI.
- Use AI tools to enhance data analysis, reporting, and workflow automation.
- Document technical processes and create user guides for new solutions.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional projects.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, AI trends, and data management best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2029.
- A major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or Java and data analysis tools.
- Experience using AI platforms such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.
- A cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- A growth mindset and an eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Must have work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship.

- This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Baltimore, MD, and Owings Mills, MD.
- This position follows a hybrid work model, with up to three days per week from home.
