About the role#
The Expense Management Intern supports the Expense Management Team with daily, monthly, and quarterly finance activities. You will gain hands-on exposure to budgeting, expense accounting, and financial reporting processes while working alongside experienced professionals. This role involves a mix of routine accounting tasks and project work designed to provide a broad understanding of company operations.
What you'll do#
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations.
- Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of management reporting materials.
- Upload financial data into various systems for budgeting purposes.
- Collaborate with team members while also completing assigned work independently.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong mathematical and accounting skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship located in Des Moines, Iowa.
- The program runs on a rolling basis.
