About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in corporate learning and development within the Sales Enablement and Operations Department. You will support the design and delivery of training resources for sales and service representatives, gaining exposure to instructional design models and learning management systems.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop training materials, including eLearnings, multimedia resources, job aids, and user guides.
- Apply instructional design principles to create clear and effective learning content.
- Assist with Seismic Learning LMS administration, including course setup and content updates.
- Pull reporting from the LMS to track performance metrics and engagement.
- Help prepare and facilitate live and virtual training sessions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather content and feedback.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program, specifically in Human Resources or Communications.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles like ADDIE.
- Strong writing and editing skills to produce professional content.
- Basic graphic or visual design skills for creating layouts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, 40-hour per week, paid internship.
- The role is based on-site at the Securian campus in St. Paul, Minnesota.
- The program runs for 12 weeks, from May 24th to August 13th, 2027.
