About the role#
The Risk Management Intern program at Allied Solutions provides a 12-week experience focused on learning, development, and hands-on work. You will partner with internal departments to evaluate business processes, policies, and controls. This role offers exposure to various risk management disciplines, including process assessments, issue resolution, due diligence, and compliance. You will analyze data, identify trends, and contribute to solutions that strengthen the quality and resilience of our operations.
What you'll do#
- Assess business processes to identify risks, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
- Analyze audit, testing, and operational results to communicate findings.
- Recommend improvements to processes, controls, and the client experience.
- Support the identification, documentation, and resolution of operational risk issues.
- Partner with stakeholders to evaluate root causes and corrective actions.
- Monitor operational performance, service levels, and emerging risk indicators.
- Enhance reporting, dashboards, and management visibility.
- Assist with client, vendor, and third-party due diligence activities.
- Support business continuity planning, including impact assessments and testing.
- Monitor regulatory developments and evaluate business impacts.
- Participate in control design and effectiveness testing.
- Maintain documentation within risk management systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program as a rising Junior or Senior.
- Pursuing a degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capability to multitask in a professional environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Carmel, Indiana (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (May 17th to August 6th).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
