About the role#
As a Hedging Analyst Intern, you will work with our team of quants, traders, and software developers. This role is designed for students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a technical field. You will gain exposure to financial markets and hedge trading while building your programming and mathematical skills.
What you'll do#
- Assess and mitigate market risks for Allianz Life and global clients.
- Work directly with the hedge trading desk.
- Develop new tools and analytics for the team.
- Back-test various strategies.
- Use artificial intelligence tools and resources to support hedge analysis projects.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward an undergraduate or graduate degree in mathematics, physics, computer science, actuarial science, or engineering.
- Strong technical proficiency in calculus, statistics, probability, and software development.
- An outstanding record of academic achievement.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship.
