About the role#
This is a full-time, 10-week internship program based in O'Fallon, Missouri. You will gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations and work closely with our staff to support daily functions. This role is paid at $28.00 per hour with eligibility for overtime. Successful completion may lead to full-time opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn warehouse operations by collaborating with staff and leadership.
- Assist the leadership team with training and administrative tasks.
- Support the Inventory Control Team with daily inventory tasks.
- Participate in Waste Walks and Seven Step Problem Solving.
- Prepare a formal report and presentation on a specific area of warehouse operations for ALDI executives.
- Attend team meetings and company training sessions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or Logistics.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Location & details#
- Location: O'Fallon, Missouri.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Physical requirements: You must be able to stand continuously and walk throughout the warehouse. The role requires the ability to sit, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, and carry items. You will frequently lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets. You will work in varying temperatures, including refrigerator and freezer environments.
- Travel: Minimal travel may be required for training or project work.
