About the role#
This is a 10-week, full-time internship program. You will work 40 hours per week in our warehouse operations. The role offers hands-on experience, and successful interns may be considered for full-time employment after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Learn warehouse operations by collaborating directly with warehouse staff.
- Assist leadership with administrative tasks, training, and team meetings.
- Support the Inventory Control Team with daily tasks.
- Participate in Waste Walks and Seven Step Problem Solving exercises.
- Help with interview events and orientations.
- Build subject matter expertise by working closely with your team.
- Create a report and presentation on a specific area of warehouse operations to share with ALDI executives.
- Maintain professionalism by meeting project deadlines and following company guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a group and build positive professional relationships.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Initiative, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies.
Location & details#
- Location: Tully, New York.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $28.00 per hour, with eligibility for overtime.
- Physical Requirements: You must be able to stand continuously and frequently walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 45 pounds. You will work in varying temperatures, including refrigerator and freezer environments.
- Travel: Minimal travel may be required for training or project work.
